(COLUMBIA, MO) -
A 29-person plow crew reported at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15 for a 12-hour overnight shift. Crews plan to continue focusing on first and second priority routes and transition to third priority routes at some point depending upon conditions. Crews are also monitoring and preparing for a chance of some freezing drizzle after snowfall stops, potentially impacting the morning commute, as well as another round of snow currently forecast to move into the area Monday morning, Dec. 16., between 7 and 9 a.m.

Motorists are encouraged to stay tuned to local forecasts, give themselves extra time for their commute and be prepared to drive with extreme caution. The City of Columbia will use all available resources to respond to ensure the safety and well being of our community members. Additional updates will be available on the City’s social media pages: Facebook and Twitter - @CoMoGov and @ColumbiaMissouriPublicWorks.
