<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">A 30-person City of Columbia plow crew reported at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, to continue responding to snow pack on all City streets overnight. A 35-person day shift crew focused on subdivision streets and final efforts needed to establish passable conditions to all City streets. Approximately 55 percent of streets have been plowed, treated and inspected for passable conditions as of 7 p.m. today. The overnight crew will focus on treating and plowing the remaining streets.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Warming temperatures to near freezing helped but lack of sun and lower than expected temperatures decreased some effectiveness of treatments. Overnight temperatures are again supposed to dip to around 17 degrees meaning there are likely to still be many snow packed areas. The forecast is for continued warming Wednesday through the weekend, which should address lingering snow pack issues relatively quickly,</span></p>
