<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">A 25-person plow crew reported at 7 a.m. on Dec. 17 for a 12-hour day shift to focus on priority routes and all City streets as an additional 1.5 inches of snow fell overnight. Precipitation activity has now ended and no additional accumulation is expected. Crew are transitioning into neighborhood streets beginning with streets near downtown and working outward. Additional City plow crews from various City departments will likely be added as the day progresses to work on all City streets until all streets have been treated, plowed, inspected and found to be passable by a front wheel drive vehicle.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists are encouraged to stay tuned to local forecasts, give themselves extra time for their commute and to drive with extreme caution. </span></p>
