<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Fire Department Performs Two Rescues in Thirty Minutes</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia Fire Department rescued a citizen that fell down an embankment and a dog that fell through ice at Twin Lakes in a thirty minute period earlier today.<br /><br />At 11:20am fire crews were dispatched to a high angle rescue at Ashland Road and Hinkson Creek.  Upon arrival fire personnel found a subject approximately 30 feet down an embankment with injuries.  The subject was carefully packaged in a stokes basket, transported to an ambulance and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.<br /><br />While that call was in progress crews were dispatched to a water rescue at Twin Lakes for a dog.  Crews arrived and observed a dog in the water and a subject up to their chest in water, trying to rescue the dog.  The subject was able to get out of the water on their own and fire crews were able to successfully rescue the dog using water rescue ropes.<br /><br />The Columbi
