<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate armed robbery at La Siesta North on Dec. 21</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery with a gun at 3:46 p.m. at 3890 Range Line Street, La Siesta North Mexican restaurant.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">An employee of the restaurant reported that he was in his vehicle during his break when a black male, approximately 25-years-old, possibly with a goatee and wearing a black hoodie cinched over his face, approached him and demanded money. The suspect struck the victim over the head with a revolver prior to leaving the area going east towards Spencers Crest Condominiums on Kennesaw Ridge.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The victim received superficial wounds to the head and was treated on scene by EMS.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Boone County Sheriff's Department deployed a drone and a CPD K9 searched the area but did not locate the suspect.</span></p>
