<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">A 22-person City of Columbia Public Works plow crew, along with fleet operations and support staff, reported at 7 p.m. on Jan. 11 to continue treating and plowing priority routes.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Today, precipitation changed from light drizzle to a wintry mix in the morning and changed over to snow around noon. Snow showers occurred for the rest of the afternoon into the evening with an accumulation of approximately 1.5 inches of snow as of 6 p.m. Temperatures will be low overnight, but are currently forecast to rise Sunday. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Snow is forecast to end sometime this evening. However, please consider voluntarily moving all parked cars off of priority routes/designated snow routes. These streets are clearly marked with a red, white and blue sign but a list is also available at CoMoSnow.com. There is a chance accumulation could reach 2 inches, which would mean ticketing and towing of cars parked on designated snow routes. The purpose of this enforcement is to provide room for plow drivers to quickly, safely and efficiently plow priority routes. To be notified of when enforcement occurs, simply text COLUMBIAPW to 888-777 to sign up for Nixle Alerts. We will also post notices on social media and CoMoSnow.com</span></p>
