<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">City of Columbia plow crews transitioned to neighborhood streets at 7 a.m., Feb. 6</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A 42-person City of Columbia plow crew reported at 7 a.m., Feb. 6, transitioning from priority routes to neighborhood streets. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Accumulation in Columbia ranged from just over 2 inches to 3.75 inches with an average of 3 inches of snowfall measured using National Weather Service guidelines. As snowfall accumulation is less than 4 inches, crews plan to work from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as needed until neighborhoods are passable by a front wheel drive vehicle.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although a street may still be snow packed, a street is considered passable if at least one lane is accessible for a front wheel drive vehicle at driving speeds well below the normal posted speed limits. Examples of passable streets are available at www.como.gov/comosnow/home/examples-of-passable-roads. </span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists are now permitted to park on priority routes but are asked to voluntarily move off of nonpriority routes if they are able to do so.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As winter weather can be unpredictable, residents are encouraged to closely monitor the forecast and changing road conditions throughout the mid-Missouri area. Motorists are advised to drive with caution. </span></p>
