<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Date and Time: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Feb. 28 at 3:25 a.m.</span></p>

<p><strong>Location: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">5400 block of Paris Road</span></p>
<br />
<p><strong>Vehicle, Driver and Pedestrian Information:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 - </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">2016 Acura TLX </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 - Stephanie Roberts, 33, of Columbia. No seatbelt, injuries- minor.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 1 in Vehicle 1 - S</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">undiala C. Moody, age 35, from Columbia, no seatbelt, injuries- minor.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pedestrian 1 - Hunter Sadler, 23, of Mexico. Injuries- fatal. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
<p><strong>Incident Details:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 was traveling north on Paris Road. Pedestrian 1 was crossing Paris road from west to east. Vehicle 1 struck Pedestrian 1. Pedestrian 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prior to the fatal crash, Pedestrian 1 was involved in a separate single vehicle crash in the 6000 block of Paris Road. After that crash, Pedestrian 1 began walking to the area of the 5400 block of Paris Road. Vehicle 1 then left the scene of the crash. Pedestrian 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the investigation, officers from the Columbia Police Department and deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Department were able to locate Vehicle 1, unoccupied, in a driveway of a residence in the 7600 block of North Zack Road. </span></p>
<p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers were able to determine that Drive 1 was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash. She was taken into custody without incident. She was arrested for felony leaving the scene of a crash and involuntary manslaughter. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time. </span></p>
