<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia City Council will meet Monday, April 6 to conduct their pre-council meeting at 6 p.m. followed by the council regular meeting at 7 p.m. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), residents will notice some differences in how the meetings are conducted. <br /><br />Some council members may attend the meetings through a video conference. Those that do will have video and audio capabilities to fully participate in the meeting. Both the pre-council meeting and regular council meeting will be livestreamed from <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov">CoMo.gov</a> and live broadcast on Spectrum 992, Mediacom 80 and CenturyLink 96. There will be a break in both the livestream and broadcast stream if the council goes into closed session. A recording of the open portions of the meetings will be available at <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov">CoMo.gov</a> on Tuesday, April 7.<br /><br />Because Boone County and Co
 
 lumbia are under a Stay at Home Order, the City is asking those who wish to make public comments or comments on agenda items to do so by submitting written comments to CityClerk@CoMo.gov by 4 p.m. on Monday, April 6. Written comments will be provided to the council members prior to the meeting and will be filed with the respective agenda item record. The council agenda can be viewed at <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov">CoMo.gov</a>.<br /><br />Any resident who wishes to attend the meeting in person to make comments is asked to please observe the required social distancing protocol. This means keeping a minimum distance of 6 feet between each person. The council chamber is currently configured to keep attendees separated. Anyone who wishes to speak in person is asked to not line up at the podium. Please allow staff to disinfect the podium and microphone between speakers. </div>
