<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <br /><strong>Wednesday, April 15 summary</strong><br />The number of positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Boone County is currently 86 with 74 who have recovered at the time of publishing. Below is information about pregnancy and breastfeeding during the coronavirus pandemic. Also below is information about a temporary traffic control plan for the Utilities drive-up windows behind City Hall and a reminder about how to conduct business online or by phone relating to Utilities accounts.<br /><br /><strong>Cases in Boone County</strong><br />

However, they say pregnant people have changes in their bodies that may increase their risk of some infections. Additionally, pregnant people have had a higher risk of severe illness when infected with viruses from the same family as COVID-19 and other viral respiratory infections, such as influenza.<br /><br />The CDC states that mother-to-child transmission of coronavirus during pregnancy is unlikely, but after birth, a newborn is susceptible to person-to-pers
on spread. A very small number of babies have tested positive for the virus shortly after birth. However, it is unknown if these babies got the virus before or after birth. The virus has not been detected in amniotic fluid, breastmilk or other maternal samples.<br /><br />Patients who recently gave birth and are positive for COVID-19 are advised to speak to their doctor to decide whether and how to start or continue breastfeeding. of Columbia plans to implement a temporary traffic control plan to accommodate increased traffic at its Columbia Utilities drive-up windows. The drive-up windows are located in the alley behind City Hall and are accessible via the one-way alley on Eighth Street between Walnut Street and Broadway. Customers can view their City utility account, request changes to services and pay their utility bill at <a href="http://www.MyUtilityBill.CoMo.gov">MyUtilityBill.CoMo.gov</a>.
