<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Lane closures scheduled on Sinclair Road between Nifong Boulevard and Southampton Drive beginning May 26</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., contractor for the City of Columbia, began preliminary work on the Sinclair Road Sidewalk project on the morning of Tuesday, May 19. This will result in the closure of both lanes of traffic on Sinclair Road between Nifong Boulevard and Southampton Drive beginning May 26 and lasting until July 27, weather permitting. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Traffic requiring access to the school may come in from the south end.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users should utilize alternate routes during this closure.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Sinclair Road Sidewalk project is part of the Public Works Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project and includes construction of a sidewalk located along the east side of Sinclair Road between Nifong Boulevard and Southampton Drive. The project length is approximately 2,600 linear feet of concrete sidewalk. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Construction of the project is scheduled to be complete by July 27, weather permitting. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The estimated investment for this CIP project is $300,000 contributed by Columbia Public Schools. An interested parties meeting for the project was held on January 23, 2019.
