<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate reported home invasion in the 4300 block of Derby Ridge Drive, May 20</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 12:24 a.m. on May 20, Columbia police responded to a report of a home invasion in the 4300 block of Derby Ridge Drive. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the residents, who reported hearing a loud bang and forced entry into the apartment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The residents also reported an exchange of gunfire between them and the intruder.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the investigation, officers did not locate any evidence suggesting the intruders were injured. Residents reported no injuries and no evidence of missing property. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers did find evidence that was consistent with forced entry into the apartment of the residents. The suspects have not been identified and there is no description to provide at this time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This case is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by detectives in the Criminal Investigation Division. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone with information about this incident is urged to please contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous. </span></p>
