Incident details:

At approximately 4:17 p.m. on May 27, officers responded to a report of a two motor vehicle crash on Stadium Boulevard (MO-740) at College Park Drive.

Upon arrival, it was reported that vehicle 1 was traveling west on Stadium Boulevard, while vehicle 2 was traveling south on College Park Drive, approaching the intersection at Stadium Boulevard. Vehicle 1 failed to stop at a red light and collided with the driver's side of vehicle 2, causing vehicle 2 to roll onto it's passenger side.

During the collision, the passenger in vehicle 2 was partially ejected. Both the driver and passenger of vehicle 2 were transported to University Hospital to treat serious injuries. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this crash. This is an ongoing investigation and there are no further details to provide at this time.
