<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Update Details:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The work associated with the closure has been extended one day and will be completed by Friday, June 5, at 7 a.m., weather permitting.</span></p>

<p><strong>Original Release:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, June 1, at 7 a.m.,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Taos Construction, contractor for the City of Columbia Community Development department, plans to install a sanitary sewer to serve the Cullimore Cottages housing development</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> This will result in a lane closure of the southbound lane of North Eighth Street between Fairview Avenue and North Boulevard.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Southbound traffic will be directed to yield to northbound traffic via temporary traffic control devices. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, June 4, by 7 a.m., weather permitting. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone.</span></p>
