<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation’s 6^th Annual Visit Your Parks Playground Challenge will kick off on Friday, June 5. This year's challenge includes a message of safety to encourage park visitors to adhere to social distancing and CDC guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>

<p>The Playground Challenge is a free summer-long program designed to get children and their parents or guardians out exploring Columbia’s parks. Each participant who visits at least 10 playgrounds is eligible for a prize, including a daily pass to the Activity & Recreation Center (ARC). Participants who visit up to 20 parks will also receive an entry into the grand prize drawing for a $100 Columbia Parks and Recreation gift certificate.</p>

<p>The Playground Challenge will end Sept. 7. An online brochure and printable tracking sheets are available online at CoMo.gov (search playground challenge). Participants may also pick up a tracking sheet by visiting the main Parks and Recreation office at 1 S. 7th St. Tracking sheets must be turned in by Sept. 18.</p>
