<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department will be performing tree pruning on the 700 block of West Ash Street between Meadow Lane and Ridgeway Avenue on Thursday, June 11, weather permitting. The pruning will remove hazardous branches over the roadway and sidewalk and will require the closure of the westbound lane.  Work is scheduled to be completed the same day, weather permitting. <br /><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the east side of West Ash Street.</span></p></div>
