<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <br /><strong>Wednesday, June 24 summary</strong><br />The number of positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Boone County is currently 302 with 216 who have been released from isolation at the time of publishing. There are 15 new cases from the previous press release update and the number released from isolation has increased by 4. There are currently 84 active cases. Below is information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about if people who recover from COVID-19 are now immune.<br /><br /><strong>Cases in Boone County</strong><br />

CDC and partners are investigating to determine if a person can get sick with COVID-19 more than once. Until they know more, they recommend continuing to take steps to <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/pr
