<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate three separate reports of shots fired in a 7-hour time frame on June 25, 26</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Case number 2020-005444 - </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 7:56 p.m. on June 25, an officer near the 1800 block of McKee Street was flagged down by a citizen who reported his son had been shot at twice near the park. The 16-year-old male victim was riding his bike traveling West on Orchard Court and then South on Mckee going towards his father’s residence located in the 1800 block of Mckee Street. He stated that he observed a firearm in the suspect’s pocket. Once the juvenile saw the firearm, he ducked behind a tree in front of his father’s residence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The suspect was described as a 22-year old black male with shoulder-length dreadlocks who rode on a hoverboard and carried a firearm in his sweatpants pocket. The suspect was last seen wearing blue sweatpants and a white tank top shirt. He also had a white backpack and had white headphones in his ear. Upon canvassing the area, the officer was able to locate several shell casings in the area. There were no further reports of damage or injuries. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers have detained a 22-year old male suspect. </span></p>

<p><strong>Case number 2020-005447 - </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 9:41 p.m. on June 25, Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 5400 block of Volunteer Lane. Upon arrival, a resident nearby told officers that they heard shots in rapid succession that were louder than the sound of fireworks. Officers were able to locate several shell casings to confirm evidence of shots fired. There was no damage or injuries reported.</span></p>

<p><strong>Case number 2020-005458 - </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 3:20 a.m. on June 26, Columbia Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of the 2100 block of Arlene Drive. Officers arrived and immediately began canvassing the area. During the investigation, officers did locate damage to property, but no injuries were reported. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />All three cases are under investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time.
