<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Columbia Parks and Recreation will open another outdoor City pool, the Douglass Family Aquatic Center on Wednesday, July 1. Douglass joins Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center as the second outdoor pool to open this summer.<br /><br /></span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Due to a lifeguard staffing shortage, Lake of the Woods Pool and Little Mates Cove at Twin Lakes Recreation Area will not open this summer.<br /><br /></span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Staff at Douglass will be enforcing social distancing guidelines and capacity requirements as outlined by Health Order 2020-07. The pool will be open Tuesdays through Sundays for two sessions: the first session will be noon to 2 p.m. and the second session will be 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The pool will close for 30 minutes between sessions to allow staff to sanitize and clean surfaces. All patrons will be asked to leave the facility at the end of their session, to allow others the opportunity to swim. The pool will remain closed on Mondays for deep cleaning.<br /><br /></span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Visitors will be asked to pay an entry fee per session. The price to swim at Douglass is $1.25 for patrons ages 2 and up and free for those under the age of 2. A 10-visit pass book is available for $11.50 and a 20-visit pass book is available for $23. Pass books expire at the end of this pool season.<br /><br /></span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">All amenities at the pool will be open, however, pool and deck furniture will be removed. Pool visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Concessions will be available for purchase.<br /><br /></span></p>
