<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia anticipates receiving approximately $950,000 in FY 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and $600,000 in FY 2021 HOME funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development available during 2021.  The City also anticipates allocating $70,000 CDBG funds allocated under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, identified as CDBG-CV to assist unsheltered populations.  FY 2021 funds will be provided for CDBG and HOME eligible activities identified in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and CDBG-CV will be provided for activities that prevent, prepare for and respond to the impacts of COVID-19.  An informational session for any interested individuals or organizations will be held virtually via Zoom on July 9, 2020 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.<br />
