<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting regarding the development of the master plan and phase one construction of the Battle Avenue Park property, which is located at 2500 Battle Ave. The drop-in meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lake of the Woods Golf Course Clubhouse, 6700 St. Charles Rd.</span></p>
<p style="background: white; margin: 4.5pt 0in 4.5pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: 1c1e21; background: white;">The new park will be on a 30-acre tract adjacent to Eliot Battle Elementary School and Muriel Williams Battle High School. The first phase of development would include a walking trail, small shelter, pond improvements, parking lot, entry drive and mountain bike training course. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: 1c1e21; background: white;">Park staff will be available to discuss plans and take public comments<span class="textexposedshow">. Social</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;"> distancing measures and the City’s mask ordinance will be enforced during the meeting.</span></p>
