<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Forum Boulevard to close between Green Meadows Road and Nifong Boulevard, Aug. 13 -14</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emery Sapp and Sons, City of Columbia contractor, will be installing storm sewer drainage across Forum Boulevard as part of the Nifong Boulevard Corridor; Forum Boulevard Improvement Project. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning Thursday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m., Forum Boulevard will close between Green Meadows Road and Nifong Boulevard for the installation of four storm lines across Forum Boulevard. Motorists will be redirected using Green Meadows Road, Bethel Street and Nifong Boulevard. Forum Boulevard is scheduled to reopen to traffic by Friday, Aug. 14, at 6 a.m, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Nifong Boulevard and Forum Boulevard improvements will improve intersections and add two additional through lanes to Forum Boulevard and Nifong Boulevard beginning in 2020 and finishing by fall 2021. The project includes two new signalized intersections, two improved signalized intersections, pedestrian crossings, bike lanes, sidewalks and more.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The estimated investment for the Nifong Boulevard/Forum Boulevard Corridor Improvement Project is $12,300,000. The funding source is the 2015 Capital Improvement Sales Tax. Interested parties meetings for the project were held on March 7, 2015; July 27, 2017; and Oct. 26, 2017. The project was approved by City Council Jan. 16, 2018, after a public hearing.
