<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police Department Chief Geoff Jones will speak at a press conference Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 3:30 p.m. regarding two public safety incidents that occurred within a 2-mile radius of Pendleton Street and East Forest Avenue on Tuesday, Aug. 11, during the early morning hours. During both incidents, the suspect sought entry into occupied residences.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The briefing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Members of the media attending the 2 p.m. COVID-19 community briefing are encouraged to stay for this press conference. Social distancing measures will be in place. Masks are required.</span></p>
