<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Mill and overlay operations planned for Sept. 1 - 3</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Public Works crews will be performing mill and overlay operations on the intersections of Wyatt Lane at Mexico Gravel Road, Tanzanite Drive at Mexico Gravel Road, and North Masonic Drive at East Prathersville Road beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1. Crews will also perform mill and overlay operations on the bridge on East Richland Road just east of Grace Lane. Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting on Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Thursday, Sept. 3, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minor delays are possible. Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should exercise caution in these areas while crews are working. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the workzone. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This work is part of the 2020 </span><a href="https://www.como.gov/publicworks/streets-and-sidewalks/pavement/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pavement Management Plan</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, which was presented to City Council in March 2020. This plan is based on the principle that preventive and rehabilitative street maintenance is more cost-effective than reconstruction.</span></p>
