<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Friday, Sept. 4, at 9 a.m., Ridenhour</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Directional Drilling, contractor for Socket Telecom, plans to install new fiber optic cables on existing City of Columbia utility poles</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> This will result in a lane closure of the westbound lane of University Avenue between College Avenue and South Ninth Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained utilizing temporary traffic control and flaggers. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. the same day, weather permitting. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone.</span></p></div>
