<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1: Kenneth R. Blackwell, Jr., 35, of Kansas City, MO. Seat belt-Yes. No Injuries<br /><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 2: Silver 2005 Honda Accord</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 2: Timothy I. Cook, 29, of Columbia, MO.  Seat belt-Yes. No injuries</span> <br /><br /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pedestrian 1: Identity withheld pending next of kin notification, 43, of Columbia, MO. Fatal Injuries</span></p>
<p><strong>Incident Details:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 was traveling west in the driving lane of I-70 westbound at approximately the 126.6 mile marker, near Providence Road. Pedestrian 1 was walking west in the driving lane of I-70. Vehicle 1 struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was then struck by Vehicle 2, which was also traveling west in the driving lane of I-70. The pedestrian received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on-scene. Next of kin has not been notified at the time this press release was published.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation is ongoing. There are no further details to provide at this time.</span></p>
