<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia police investigate two separate incidents in North Columbia, Sept. 5</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, Columbia police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3700 block of Woodland Drive where an adult female, 75, left home to walk her dog and upon returning noticed several valuables missing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prior to leaving her home, the victim reported seeing three young black males with slim builds walking in the area. She reported that one of the suspects wore a bright yellow shirt, and one had a white short sleeve t-shirt. The victim could not remember what the third was wearing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A neighbor was able to confirm seeing three young black males leaving the residence around the time of the reported burglary. There were no reported injuries during this incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While officers were responding to this incident, Boone County Joint Communications received information that a robbery had occurred at approximately 8:42 a.m. in the 3900 block of Pine View Drive. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival officers met with an adult male, 73, who reported being robbed while sitting in his work truck. He reported that the suspect appeared at the driver side window and brandished a gun. Shortly afterwards a second suspect appeared at the passenger window and made further demands for the victim to comply. The suspects took several valuables from the victim’s vehicle before leaving. There were no reports of injuries during this incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A neighbor’s camera was able to capture an image of what each suspect was wearing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first suspect was a taller black male wearing a gray stocking style cap, dark colored t-shirt with writing on the front, gray sweatpants, black socks and white sandals. The second suspect was a shorter black male wearing a white t-shirt, red gym shorts, white socks, red shoes and carrying a small black shoulder bag. In addition, a third suspect was seen walking with the others and was described as an average size black male, wearing a yellow hoodie, blue and white stonewash style jeans and black shoes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At this time there is no evidence to connect these two incidents.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Both cases should be considered open/active and have been forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division. </span></p>
