<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting regarding the development of the Vineyards park property in east Columbia. The drop-in meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the park property located on Dumas Drive, between Stone Mountain Parkway and Spring Mountain Drive. </span></p>
<p style="background: white; margin: 4.5pt 0in 4.5pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: 1c1e21; background: white;">The 43-acre park was acquired in 2016 with funds from the Park Sales Tax, filling a need for a neighborhood park in this area of Columbia, as identified in the 2013 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. The final plan for the park could include a trail around the 11.6-acre lake, parking lot and neighborhood access.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: 1c1e21; background: white;">Park staff will be available to discuss plans and take public comments<span class="textexposedshow">. Social</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;"> distancing measures and the City’s mask ordinance will be enforced during the meeting.</span></p>
