<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">UPDATE: Columbia Police release the name of the individual involved in a fatal pedestrian crash, on Sept. 5</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police has identified </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brian Sam, 43, of Columbia as the individual who was fatally struck in the westbound driving lane of I-70 at approximately the 126.6 mile marker. During the investigation, CPD was able to determine that Sam was walking west in the driving lane when he was struck by two vehicles. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Investigators were able to locate the family of Sam with the assistance of the FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are no further details to provide at this time.</span></p>
