<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate robbery on the lot of Joe Machens Hyundai, 1300 Vandiver Road, Oct. 13</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Joe Machens Hyundai dealership, 1300 Vandiver Road on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at approximately 2:30 a.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers located one victim who reported that three males approached him. While all three were displaying handguns, they demanded money and other valuables. They were described as black males, ranging in height from 5’6 to 5’10. One male was reported wearing a black hoodie, and another male was reported wearing a gray hoodie. The victim was unable to provide any further descriptions. </span> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the incident, the victim reported being struck several times by one of the suspects but did not require medical attention. The suspects were last seen running on foot northeast from the dealership. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With assistance from a CPD K-9 unit, one suspect, later identified as a juvenile, was tracked and located in the wooded area of Diamond Avenue and Garnet Drive. He was detained for robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Detectives with CID are working on leads to identify the other two suspects.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time. </span></p>
