<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 - 2020 Honda Accord</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">     </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 - Richard L. Chancellor, 78, of Columbia      Seat Belt - Yes, fatal Injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 2 - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD truck (parked)  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Synopsis:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 2:33 p.m. on Oct. 30, Vehicle 1 was traveling west on Hoylake Drive.  Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle 2 parked near the intersection of Crystal Downs Loop and Hoylake Drive.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The events leading to the crash are still under investigation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Next of kin was notified by the Columbia Police Department.</span></p>
