<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 6 p.m. on Nov. 2, Columbia police responded to a report of shots fired at Cosmopolitan Recreation Area Park, 1615 W. Business Loop. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, CPD rendered aid to a victim until medics arrived to provide additional medical assistance. The victim was pronounced dead on scene as a result of suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At this time, the victim has been identified. His name will be released pending notification of next of kin. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no suspect information or vehicle information available.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation, there are no further details to provide at this time. </span></p>
