<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to a reported burglary and shots fired in an apartment building in the 2900 block of Leeway Dr., Nov. 29</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 9:10 p.m. on Nov. 29, Columbia police officers responded to two reports of shots being fired in the same apartment building in the 2900 block of Leeway Dr. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the investigation, officers learned the two reports were from residents who live above and below each other. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first caller reported a bullet hole in the ceiling from a gunshot that came from the apartment above his. He reported that he was sitting in the bedroom when the shot went off. He was grazed in the leg by a bullet but did not need medical attention. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The second caller reported that his apartment was broken into and that items worth approximately $730 were missing. The resident reported he left the apartment to get groceries and when he returned, items were missing and he saw a bullet hole in the floor of the apartment. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers found no evidence of forced entry. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no other injuries reported during this incident, and there is no suspect information to provide. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time. </span></p>
