<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate shots fired incident in the area of Whitegate Drive and Sylvan Ln., Dec. 21</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 7:51 p.m. on Dec. 21, Columbia Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Whitegate Drive and Sylvan Lane. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located several shell casings near the area of the reported incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers spoke with residents who reported seeing a black sedan driving northbound on Sylvan Lane at a high rate of speed after they heard multiple gun shots.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No further suspect information is available, and there were no injuries reported at the time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
