<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Date and Time:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Thursday, Dec. 31 at approximately 9:30 a.m.</span></p>
<p><strong>Location: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sam’s Club, 101 Conley Road</span></p>
<p><strong>Vehicle & Driver Information:<br /><br /></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 - </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">1991 Mitsubishi Montero, sport utility vehicle</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 - Patrick A. Giberson, 6478 Highway A, Lentner, Missouri 63450</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">, no seatbelt, no injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 1 - Unknown female subject, no seatbelt, unknown injuries.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 2 - </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">2015 Dodge Grand Caravan</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 2 - </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Juvenile female, seatbelt use unknown, minor injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pedestrian 2 - </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Shawn M. Taylor, 5650 North Creasy Springs Road, Columbia, Missouri 65202. Taylor is the owner of vehicle 2 and was standing outside his vehicle, life-threatening injuries.</span></p>
<p><strong>Incident Details:<br /><br /></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 was traveling south in the driving lane in front of Lowe’s, which is a private parking lot. Vehicle 1 struck a concrete median divider separating a driveway on the south side of Lowe’s and a driveway on the north side of Sam’s Club. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2, which was parked in the loading area on the northeast side of Sam’s Club. As a result of the crash, vehicle 2 struck pedestrian 2, who was standing next to his vehicle. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 was taken into custody at the scene.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pedestrian 2 was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">More information may become available at a later time. </span></p>
