<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate shots fired incident in the area of Bethel Street and Nikki Way, Jan. 13</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers responded to a report of shots fired Wednesday, Jan. 13 at approximately 5:10 a.m., in the area of Bethel Street and Nikki Way.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers made contact with a resident who reported that he observed suspects rummaging through his vehicle around 5 a.m. The victim reported that after confronting the suspects, they entered a gray or silver-colored SUV and fled the area. The victim reported the suspects fired shots at him from the vehicle in which they fled.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers located damage to the victim’s vehicle from gunshots, along with several shell casings. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no injuries reported during this incident. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The victim reported four suspects were possibly in the vehicle but was only able to provide a description for two of them. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’9 with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a red shirt, white shoes and a red face mask. The second suspect was described as a white male wearing blue jeans, a red/white striped shirt and white shoes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
