<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers responded to the 2400 block of West Broadway to a report of shots fired on Thursday, Jan. 14 at approximately 8:30 p.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers arrived and located a male victim, 25, who had sustained injuries from gunshot wounds. The victim was alert and walking when officers located him. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers immediately began rendering first aid to the victim until the scene was secure and EMS was able to take over patient care</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.  The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance to be treated for his injuries. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no other injuries reported. Officers did not locate any property damage caused by gunfire. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no suspect information or description available at this time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
