<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Orchard Court on Feb. 15 at approximately 7:15 a.m. for a request for a well-being check. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers located a victim inside the residence who had sustained life-threatening injuries. EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for advanced medical care. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by CPD’s Criminal Investigation Division. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
