<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of Waffle House, 904 Vandiver Dr. at approximately 10:58 p.m., on Sunday, March 14.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers located one adult male in the parking lot who sustained a life-threatening wound. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CPD officers, Columbia Fire Department and EMS provided aid until the victim, identified as Reginald E. Ball, 51, of Columbia was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by detectives from the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
