<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Please join us at Jesse Hall Auditorium at 6:30 p.m., April 22 for discussions surrounding the </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">State vs. Derek Chauvin</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;"> trial. A panel of University of Missouri law professors, community members and representatives from the Columbia Police Department will participate in the discussion.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The community is invited to engage in conversations that will allow them to gain an understanding of the prosecution and criminal processes in a safe space. Information will also be provided about the legal definitions related to the laws that are being used by the prosecuting attorney against former police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Panelists will be available for a Q & A session with audience members following their presentation. Participants and groups are encouraged to submit questions prior to the event to </span><a href="mailto:cpdforums@como.gov"><span style="font-weight: 400;">cpdforums@como.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></p>
