<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Friday, April 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. at The Blue Note,17 N. Ninth St. The clinic is intended for those who work in the bar, restaurant and entertainment industries. Everyone getting vaccinated at the event must live or work in Boone County. <br /><br />This event will be appointment only and approximately 250 appointments will be available. Those interested in registering for the event can do so online at <a href="https://www.como.gov/health/fgfhysiispkd/?ap=ftyhkuio39ddd%*7_special_event" target="_blank">CoMo.gov/Health/fgfhysiispkd/?ap=ftyhkuio39ddd%*7_special_event</a>. If unable to register online, please call the City Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489). <br /><br />"We are so grateful for the efforts made by the bar, restaurant and entertainment industries to help keep our commun
 ity safe. Now it’s our turn to help keep them safe by offering a convenient way to get the COVID-19 vaccine," PHHS Director Stephanie Browning said.  <br /><br />The Moderna vaccine will be administered at the clinic. This vaccine is only available for those 18 and older. The second-dose clinic will be held at The Blue Note on Friday, May 7. Those who register should be available on both dates in order to receive full effectiveness of the vaccine. There will be additional opportunities for vaccination if members of these industries are unable to attend this event.<br /><br />PHHS appreciates the managers and staff of The Blue Note for co-hosting this vaccine clinic. PHHS is working closely with The District and owners/managers of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues throughout the county to offer vaccination opportunities for these industries. Owners or managers of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues can reach out to <a href="mailto: CovidVac
