<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Utilities and Stantec Consulting will be hosting a Rates 101 presentation to explain how the Utility departments determine revenue sufficiency, cost of service, rate design and customer impact. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The public event, which will focus on Solid Waste, Sewer and Stormwater, will be at 6 p.m. April 20 in the City Council Chambers. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Because of social distancing regulations, attendance will be limited. However, the session will be recorded for interested parties to view at their convenience on the <a href="https://www.como.gov/utilities/rates-presentation/">City of Columbia website</a>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residents who are unable to attend submit questions through the <a href="https://forms.gle/gSXsFPWMsawW4Fmy7">question form</a>. Questions submitted by April 15 will be forwarded to Stantec for consideration. The question form will be open until April 23 for any citizens seeking additional information.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">City staff will also be available at the meeting to answer questions and take comments.</span></p></div>
