<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police arrest one suspect involved in homicide that occurred in the 1000 block of Elleta Blvd., April 18</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 11:16 a.m. on April 18, the Columbia Police Department responded to a report of a death that occurred in the 1000 block of Elleta Blvd. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim was an eight month old female. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the course of the investigation, detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division were called to assist and determined the death of the infant was a homicide.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A suspect was identified as Jennifer Johnson, 44, of Fayette. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a result, Johnson was arrested for second degree murder, child abuse and first degree child endangerment. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Johnson has been remanded to the custody of Boone County Jail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Criminal Investigations Division. More details may become available later.</span></p>
