<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate an assault with injury that occured in the 3400 block of Grindstone Pkwy, May 2</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a reported assault with a weapon resulting in an injury that occurred in the 3400 block of Grindstone Pkwy on May 2 at approximately 4:15 a.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers made contact with one adult male victim who had a non-life-threatening injury. The victim reported that he was approached by three Black males while he was inside his parked tractor-trailer in a parking lot. He reported that after one of the Black males knocked on the window, he exited his vehicle, which is when the assault occurred.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The victim was treated by EMS on the scene and then transported to a local emergency room for further medical assessment. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no further injuries reported.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no vehicle or description of suspects to provide at this time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
