<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Update: Columbia Police arrest one suspect involved in shots fired incident in the parking lot of Walmart, 3001 W. Broadway, May 10</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police have arrested DeAngelo D. Hughes, 21, of Columbia for his involvement in the shots fired incident that occurred in the parking lot of Walmart, 3001 W. Broadway at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, May 10. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, May 11, Hughes was arrested for the charge of tampering with evidence in a felony prosecution and has been remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Through further investigation, Detectives learned that two additional suspects were also involved in the incident and developed probable cause to issue a warrant. The suspects were identified as Dequan Hughes, 21, and Gerrod Taylor, 20 both of Columbia.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A warrant has been issued for both suspects for the charges of first degree assault and armed criminal action. Columbia Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating these suspects. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
