<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Thursday, June 10, Mayor Brian Treece will unveil the City of Columbia’s Bicentennial Commemorative Poster in a small ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in the Daniel Boone Building at 701 E. Broadway. This year’s poster features artwork by local artist Ken Nichols.<br /><br />Each year since 1992, the City of Columbia has produced an annual commemorative poster to communicate the vitality and beauty of Columbia. <br /><br />"In 2021, the selection committee chose the artwork of Ken Nichols to celebrate Columbia’s Bicentennial as we look back on the last 200 years as well as look forward to the future," said Sarah Dress, manager for the City's Office of Cultural Affairs. <br /><br />The Bicentennial Commemorative Poster will be available for purchase after the event for $20 each at the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau located in the Walton Building at 300 S. Providence.
Previous year’s posters are also available for $10 each.</div>
