<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Sewer Utility is holding the first of three Interested Parties meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Parkade Elementary School to discuss the upcoming sewer rehabilitation project.<br /><br />The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Utility's plans to line existing sanitary sewer mains in the Parkade neighborhood. Meetings to discuss plans for rehabilitation projects in the Lynwood and Oakland neighborhoods will be scheduled later. Lining the mains is trenchless and less invasive than traditional methods.<br /><br />Information and diagrams showing preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and City staff will be present to answer questions.<br /><br />Social distancing guidelines will be in place for the meeting.</div>
