<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia has named Gary Anspach as the new housing programs manager. Anspach began serving in the role on June 21, 2021. <br /><br />As housing programs manager, he will manage the City’s funding received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He will also work closely with the Housing and Community Development Commission, the Columbia Community Land Trust Organization board, City departments and community stakeholders to plan projects and programs to assist low and moderate-income households. <br /><br />Anspach is a graduate from the University of Missouri where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science. <br /><br />He previously worked for the City of Columbia as senior housing specialist. Before returning to the City he worked as a financial officer in the State of Missouri Community Development Block Grant program. <br 
 /><br />Anspach also has experience working for the Columbia Housing Authority and Central Missouri Community Action. <br /><br />He also holds several professional certifications from the National Community Development Association and NeighborWorks America.<br /><br />A photo of Anspach is attached.</div>
