<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police arrest one suspect in shots fired incident that occurred in the 4600 block of Oakview Dr., July 16</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 5:41 p.m. on Friday, July 16, Columbia Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic disturbance in the 4600 block of Oakview Dr. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While en route, officers learned there had been shots fired inside the residence by a male suspect where an adult female and juvenile resided. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, officers located property damage inside the residence. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The male suspect was located and apprehended near the residence with a firearm in his possession. As a result of the investigation John P. O’Connor, 37, of Columbia, MO was arrested for the charges of fourth degree domestic violence, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. O’Connor was remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available later. </span></p>
