<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an interested parties (IP) meeting for the new Fire Station 11 project. The meeting will be held on Aug. 9 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at City Hall in conference rooms 1A/1B.<br /><br />During the meeting, citizens can review preliminary plans, make comments, ask questions and complete a public comment form. <br /><br />The preliminary design for the new fire station is approximately 10,000 square feet consisting of three apparatus bays, training and exercise areas, sleeping and living areas for crews and a police sub-station area. <br /><br />The site is located on Scott Blvd just north of Montauk Court. <br /><br />Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to attend the meeting to provide feedback and ask questions about the proposed plan.</div>
